During the 2-day festival, you’ll find a variety of entertainment, food and fun on the Oktoberfest Grounds in Heritage Park as well as many special events throughout Muenster and Cooke County. The following guidelines will help get you prepared for fun at the festival.  Did we miss something?  Give us a jingle at 940-759-2227.

OPERATING HOURS: Saturday the gates open at 10:00 am and entertainment ends at 12:00 am.  Sunday the gates open at 10:00 am and entertainment ends at 6:00 pm.

ADMISSIONS: Your admission charge includes access to all entertainment and access to public areas. Children 8 and under are always admitted free.  Admission is for the entire day.         $5 Saturday and $5 Sunday


FOOD and DRINK: The backbone to any German celebration! Food and drinks are sold throughout the grounds. Visitors are prohibited from bringing food and beverages onto the festival grounds. This includes, but is not limited to, beer and wine. Activity Vendors, Food Vendors and Beer sales require tickets.  ATMs are available on the grounds.  Please note that Credit/Debit Cards are accepted on a limited basis.


SEATING: Seating is provided in all entertainment areas. Patrons may not bring personal seating (such as bag chairs) onto the festival grounds.


PROPER ATTIRE: Shirts and shoes are required attire for festival patrons.  Dirndls, lederhosen, and silly hats are encouraged.  Smiles required!

RAIN: Oktoberfest continues rain or shine, and no rain dates are scheduled.


PARKING: $5 Parking in the area adjacent to the festival grounds at Heritage Park.


HANDICAP FACILITIES: Grounds are handicap accessible. Handicap parking is available in front of Heritage Park.


PETS and SERVICE ANIMALS: Only trained service animals will be allowed on the festival grounds. Please leave dogs and other pets at home as they may pose safety or health risks in such a crowded and stimulating environment.


FIRST AID: Emergency Medical Technicians are on duty on the festival grounds at all times.


ATM $$$: Automatic teller machines are located on the festival grounds.
